when sorrow takes over the limits gone
theres no stopping it just let it soak in
it wont take long
you feel it all slip away as you lie there broke without a word to say
you cant pick yourself up from your disappointment
without assistance from an outside source
dont stop until your thoughts are empty
and have to know its there
'cause it doesnt take much to reduce
the harsh sting of the tool you use
with drown out senses the feeling ensues
consuming you with embracing abuse

Im not saying that I havent been there before
falling down with the taste of the bottom
until you wake up tired and sore
Im not saying that it makes it okay or that you should always listen when your mind says more

its not like its just one too many
its a push of the limit and it goes too far
you feel your surroundings as they spin around you
reality seems to slip away
